Matthew Hagler

Matthew Hagler is the Director of Commercial Real Estate for the KW Commercial Ballantyne office, and a founding principal of the Keller Williams Ballantyne Area Market Center. This Market Center has been one of the world’s most profitable Market Centers for many consecutive years.

With over twenty years in the industry, Matthew has extensive experience in office, retail, industrial, multifamily and land transactions. His background in multiple disciplines enables him to effectively manage his team of broker specialists in each category within commercial real estate. His accomplishments are founded on his deep understanding of the market, his ability to predict and navigate challenges and trends based on historical market performance, and an innate understanding of the region's trajectory. A master negotiator, known for his creative ways to save deals, Matthew has successfully closed hundreds of deals on behalf of his clients.

A Charlotte native, Matthew is invested in the city’s growth and leverages his Market Center’s capabilities to support its viability. He cultivated the KW Commercial team of highly specialized brokers to offer holistic services based on their client’s specific needs. The team continues to grow as Matthew identifies talented individuals in key fields and drives a focus on continuous learning within a supportive team environment.

As Regional Ambassador for the Carolinas, Matthew provides resources and educational opportunities for commercial brokers in this region.

Matthew is dedicated to the well-being of the community – specifically through the Mecklenburg Kiwanis Club where he has served regionally as Trustee for the Carolinas District and President of the Carolinas District Foundation. Kiwanis has recognized Matthew with the prestigious George E. Hixson Fellowship Award.

As a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR), Matthew is a recipient of the Deal Makers Platinum, Silver and Bronze Awards in recent years. Additionally, he has been recognized as the Commercial Agent of the Year and the Commercial Team of the Year for the KW Ballantyne Area Market Center.
